I've had my braces for 2 weeks now. They stopped hurting about a week ago but they still hurt on and off. Last week I was finally able to start eating real foods! Before that I had to eat really soft foods like mashed potatoes, pudding, ice cream, noodles, fruits that are mushy or soft, cooked vegetables, and any other foods that are creamy or soft enough to eat. So it feels nice to be able to eat other foods now.
When I Got My Braces On
Some time in September this year I went to the orthodontist to see if i needed braces. When I went there they took lots of pictures of my teeth and of me. They then went and looked at the pictures and came to the conclusion that I needed braces. So my parents and I made an appointment to get molds made of my teeth and get the braces on. A couple of weeks later I went in to get molds made of my teeth. When they put the stuff in my mouth to make the molds it tasted horrible and made me gag! They then told me that i needed a bite plate too so i don't bite done on my bottom braces. So they had to make another mold on the top. On October 30th, 2017 I went back to the orthodontist to get my braces put on! I was super nervous but excited at the same time. First they talked to my parents and I and we had to sign some papers. They talked to me about my braces and told me what I can't eat and stuff. After that they took me onto the room were they put the braces on. They put the braces
How difficult is it to brush your teeth with braces on? Are you able to floss? Curious minds want to know!
